Saut&eacute; with wine and brown sugar until onions are soft and sugar is carmelized. Peel, chop, and boil potatoes until soft. Once onions are done c [...] ]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="paragraph">This one is a family favorite and a weekly occurance on our family menu.<br/><br/>Ingredients:<br /><br/><ul style="list-style='disc outside';"><li>1 white large white onion (slivered)</li><li>2/3 cup dry red wine</li><li>2 Tbsp brown sugar</li><li>2-6 cube steaks (heavily seasoned with Susie Q Santa Maria style seasoning)</li><li>4 large potatoes</li><li>2 sliced bacon (cooked)</li><li>2 Tbsp. butter</li><li>Brown gravy mix<br /></li></ul>Directions:<br />Start with onions in a large skillet. Saut&eacute; with wine and brown sugar until onions are soft and sugar is carmelized. Peel, chop, and boil potatoes until soft. Once onions are done cook cube steak in same pan (do not clean). 4 minutes each side on the cube steak (varies depending on thickness). Drain potatoes, mash, and stir in bacon and butter.
